Privacy Policy
This is a plain-language policy provided in good faith. It is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction, and should be reviewed before the site handles regulated or high-volume personal data.
This policy describes how Shahnawaz Akhtar & Co. ("we") handles information collected through shahnawazakhtar.com and in the course of client engagements.
Through this website we collect only what you choose to give us:
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own marketing. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if a conversation proceeds, to manage that relationship. We do not add you to a marketing list from a contact form submission.
Contact form submissions are delivered through a third-party form processor, which handles the message in transit and applies spam filtering. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, and some JavaScript libraries are served from a public CDN; these providers may log request metadata such as IP address as part of delivering those assets.
Data shared during an engagement (system access, database extracts, logs, billing detail) is governed by the confidentiality and data-processing terms of the signed engagement agreement, not by this page. Engagement data is kept separate per client, used only for the agreed purpose, and returned or deleted per the agreed retention schedule.
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months so we have context if you come back, then deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us via the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.
